Death certificate in Vadodara
Registration and certified copies from the Municipal Corporation or panchayat — and the heirship papers that usually follow, to settle accounts, insurance and property.
The certificate, and everything it unlocks
A death certificate is not only a record of a passing. It is the document that lets a family move forward — closing or transferring a bank account, claiming a life insurance policy or pension, transferring a house or a vehicle, and settling any matter that was in the deceased's name. Almost nothing can be done in an estate until this certificate is in hand, and then a second set of papers — the heirship documents — is usually needed on top of it.

What we handle
New registration
Registering the death with the Municipal Corporation or panchayat from the medical record.
Certified copies
Multiple certified copies — you will need several, one per institution.
Duplicate copy
A fresh certified copy when the earlier ones are used up or lost.
Heirship affidavit
The document naming the legal heirs, needed for most transfers.
Get several certified copies at once. The bank keeps one, the insurer keeps one, the property office keeps one, the RTO keeps one. Families almost always underestimate how many they will need and end up making repeat trips. Ask us for the right number the first time.
What comes after — the papers a family actually needs
The death certificate is the start, not the end. To act on what the person left behind, most institutions ask for the heirship affidavit — the પેઢીનામું — which names every legal heir, and often a no-objection or consent from the other heirs. Where property is involved, the name on the property card then has to be transferred to the heirs, which is its own process. We can handle the whole chain — certificate, heirship, and the transfers — so a grieving family is not learning the system one rejection at a time.

Death certificate questions
How many certified copies should I get?
More than you think — one each for the bank, insurer, property office and RTO, plus spares. We advise the right number so you are not making repeat trips.

It is the document naming all the legal heirs. Most institutions ask for it, alongside the death certificate, before releasing accounts or transferring property.
Can you also transfer the property to the heirs?
Yes. After the certificate and heirship papers, the property card name transfer is a separate step we handle as part of the same chain.
The death was some years ago and never registered. Is it still possible?
Delayed registration of a death is possible with supporting evidence, similar to a delayed birth. Send us what records exist and we will tell you honestly whether it is enough.
